1. If you know you will miss class,meet with Ms. Johnson the day before your absence to ask about work you will miss.
"I'm going to be absent tomorrow. Is there anything I can do at home to stay caught up?"
2. Check Google Classroom for handouts/activities and Calendar for upcoming due dates. Call or talk to a classmate to ask for more information.
"I see on Google Classroom that you did an activity called 'River Valley maps' in class. Can you tell me more about that assignment?"
3. The day you return to class, pick up a copy of the handouts from the "Absent?" filein the classroom. Ask a classmate about other activities you may have missed.
4. Turn in work to the inbox in our classroom or online to Google Classroom (either that was due or that you completed while you were out).
5. If you miss a lot of class or you'd like help catching up, make a Panther Time appointment with Ms. Johnson. You can also schedule a meeting with her before or after school, or during recess. "May I come meet with you during Panther Time on Wednesday? I'd like to work on an assignment from when I was absent."
